Honey Loaf Cake

Ingredients:

1½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp cinnamon (optional)

¼ tsp salt

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

½ cup sugar

2 large eggs

½ cup honey

½ cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the honey and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.

Pour the batter into the loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let it cool before slicing. Drizzle extra honey on top if you like!
