Homemade Pizza Dough

Ingredients:
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed (optional for added texture)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1 tsp dried oregano (optional)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Salt, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese together. Heat for about 30 seconds, stir, then heat again if needed until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine the almond flour, ground flaxseed, garlic powder, oregano, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the melted cheese mixture and egg to the dry ingredients. Stir well until everything comes together into a dough.
- Place the dough onto the prepared baking sheet and use your hands or a rolling pin to shape it into a pizza crust, about 1/4-inch thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until it is golden and firm.
- Add your favorite keto-friendly toppings (such as sugar-free marinara sauce, cheese, meats, and veggies) and return the pizza to the oven. Bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and melted.
- Slice and enjoy your keto pizza!
