Homemade Maid-Rite Sliders Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Slider buns
- Optional toppings: pickles, ketchup, mustard, cheese, onions
Instructions
- Cook the Beef:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks.
- Drain any excess fat.
- Add Ingredients:
- Add the finely chopped onion to the skillet and cook until soft.
- Stir in the yellow mustard, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer:
- Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the liquid has mostly evaporated and the beef mixture is moist but not too wet.
- Prepare the Buns:
- While the meat mixture is simmering, lightly toast the slider buns.
- Assemble the Sliders:
- Spoon the loose meat mixture onto the bottom half of each slider bun.
- Add any desired toppings such as pickles, ketchup, mustard, cheese, or onions.
- Place the top half of the bun on each slider.
- Serve:
- Serve the Maid-Rite sliders hot, with a side of your favorite chips or fries.
