Homemade Maid-Rite Sliders Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Slider buns
  • Optional toppings: pickles, ketchup, mustard, cheese, onions

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef:
    • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks.
    • Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add Ingredients:
    • Add the finely chopped onion to the skillet and cook until soft.
    • Stir in the yellow mustard, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, salt, and pepper.
  3. Simmer:
    • Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the liquid has mostly evaporated and the beef mixture is moist but not too wet.
  4. Prepare the Buns:
    • While the meat mixture is simmering, lightly toast the slider buns.
  5. Assemble the Sliders:
    • Spoon the loose meat mixture onto the bottom half of each slider bun.
    • Add any desired toppings such as pickles, ketchup, mustard, cheese, or onions.
    • Place the top half of the bun on each slider.
  6. Serve:
    • Serve the Maid-Rite sliders hot, with a side of your favorite chips or fries.
