Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef or chicken
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, diced (optional)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 cup sugar-free pizza sauce (or marinara)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar (optional)
- Your favorite pizza toppings:
(pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, jalapeños, etc.)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef (or chicken) over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and bell pepper. Cook until meat is browned and veggies are soft. - Season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Drain any excess fat and spread the cooked mixture evenly in a baking dish.
- Pour pizza sauce over the meat, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese on top.
- Add your favorite pizza toppings.
- Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Optional: Broil for 2-3 minutes for golden cheesy top.
