- 250g ground beef (lean)
- 250g ground pork
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (or light cream alternative)
- 1 cup cottage cheese (adds extra protein)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup tomato sauce (no added sugar if possible)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp oregano or Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Optional add-ins:
- Spinach or zucchini (for nutrients, low carbs)
- Mushrooms or bell peppers

๐ฅ Instructions
- Preheat oven
- 180ยฐC (350ยฐF)
- Cook the meat
- In a pan, cook ground beef & pork together
- Add onion & garlic
- Cook until browned and fully done
- Drain excess fat if needed
- Add flavor
- Stir in tomato sauce, paprika, oregano, salt & pepper
- Simmer for 5โ7 minutes
- Mix creamy layer
- In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt + cottage cheese
- Assemble casserole
- Spread meat mixture in a baking dish
- Add creamy layer on top
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly
- Bake
- 20โ25 minutes until bubbly and golden
