  • Β½ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch salt

Burger

  • 4–5 oz lean ground beef (93%), turkey, or chicken
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 slice reduced-fat cheese (optional)

Toppings (optional)

  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Onion
  • Pickles
  • Sugar-free ketchup or mustard
  • Greek yogurt mixed with ketchup (high-protein β€œspecial sauce”)

1. Make the chaffles

  1. Preheat waffle maker.
  2. Mix egg, cheese, protein powder (if using), baking powder, and salt.
  3. Pour half the batter into waffle maker.
  4. Cook 3–4 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Repeat for second chaffle.

2. Cook the burger

  1. Form meat into a patty.
  2. Season with salt & pepper.
  3. Cook in a pan over medium heat 3–4 minutes per side
    (or until fully cooked).
  4. Add cheese slice during last minute if using.
