Green Pizza Crust

ingredients:
- 1 cup chopped fresh spinach | 30g
- 1 cup chopped fresh broccoli florets | 90g
- ½ cup almond flour | 60g
- ¼ cup nutritional yeast | 20g
- 2 tablespoons olive oil | 30ml
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed | 7g
- 3 tablespoons water | 45ml
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder | 1g
- ¼ teaspoon salt | 1g
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional) | 0.5g
directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Steam the spinach and broccoli florets until they are slightly softened (about 5 minutes). Drain well and squeeze out any excess water.
- In a food processor, combine the steamed spinach, broccoli, almond flour, nutritional yeast, olive oil, ground flaxseed, water, garlic powder, salt, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Process until a smooth, green dough forms.
- Place the dough onto the prepared baking sheet and press it into your desired pizza crust shape and thickness (around ¼ inch or 0.5cm).
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is lightly golden around the edges and feels firm.
- Let the crust cool slightly before adding your favorite toppings.
