GARLIC AND BUTTER FLATBREAD

Ingredients:
For the Flatbread Dough:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ¾ cup plain yogurt (or Greek yogurt)
- ¼ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Garlic Butter Topping:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tablespoon garlic powder)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
- Salt to taste

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Dough:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- Add the yogurt, milk, and olive oil to the dry ingredients.
- Mix until a dough starts to form. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour; if too dry, add a bit more milk.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for a few minutes until smooth.
- Cover the dough with a clean cloth or plastic wrap and let it rest for about 10-15 minutes.
2. Prepare the Garlic Butter:
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic (or garlic powder) and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but be careful not to burn it.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
3. Roll Out the Dough:
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
- On a floured surface, roll out each portion into a thin, flat circle or oval, about ¼ inch thick.
4. Cook the Flatbread:
- Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. You can use a non-stick pan or lightly oil the pan if desired.
- Cook each flatbread for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and slightly puffed.
- Brush each cooked flatbread with the garlic butter immediately after removing it from the pan.
5. Serve:
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
- Serve warm, either as a snack, appetizer, or alongside your favorite meal.
