Diabetic Oats-Apple-Carrot Breakfast Bowl
β Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 green apple (with peel)
- 1 medium carrot
- 2 cups water (or unsweetened almond milk)
- Β½ tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional but recommended)
- 5β6 chopped almonds or walnuts
- Pinch of salt

- Grate the apple and carrot (keep apple peel for fiber).
- In a pot, add oats + water + pinch of salt.
- Cook on medium heat for 5β7 minutes.
- Add grated carrot and cook 2 more minutes.
- Turn off heat, then mix in grated apple and cinnamon.
- Top with chia seeds and nuts.
