  • 3 frozen and medium-sized banana
  • Espresso 1/4 cup (at room temp)

INGREDIENT NOTES:

Bananas:

  • The inherent taste of bananas provides sweetness and a hint of banana flavor complements the other items.

Espresso:

  • We used espresso to give this ice cream a coffee flavor.

Honey:

  • It is an optional choice. You can use it to balance the ice cream flavors.

Vanilla extract:

  • I prefer to use coffee extract but vanilla extract will also go well.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Add the espresso and one tablespoon of honey to a mug.
  2. Stir it well, then add a small amount of sugar to reduce the bitter flavor of espresso.
  3. Mix well with a coffee beater until a homogenous texture is formed.
  4. Set aside the mug to cool.
  5. Now, add the vanilla extract, coffee, and frozen sliced bananas to a food blender.
