🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 lb (900 g) potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • ½ tsp dried rosemary or thyme (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven

  • Heat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Prep potatoes

  • Wash and cut potatoes into wedges or cubes.
  • For extra crispiness, soak in cold water 20 minutes, then drain and dry thoroughly.

3️⃣ Season
Toss potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and herbs.

4️⃣ Bake

  • Spread potatoes in a single layer on the tray. Avoid overcrowding.
  • Bake 25 minutes, flip, then bake another 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy.
