Crispy Lemon Pepper Chicken Thighs In The Air Fryer

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Cooking spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels, then rub the lemon pepper seasoning mixture all over the chicken, making sure to coat each thigh evenly.
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, skin side up.
  5. Cook the chicken thighs in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy and golden brown.
  6. Once done, remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Serve the crispy lemon pepper chicken thighs hot with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, rice, or salad.
