- 6 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss work great)
- 1 tbsp cream cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional, for flavor)
- Olive oil or butter for pan
- Toothpicks (optional but helpful for rolling)
Instructions:
- Lay it out:
On a clean surface, lay down one slice of ham or turkey. - Layer the cheese:
Place a slice of cheese on top of the meat. - Add the extras (optional):
Spread a thin layer of cream cheese or a dab of Dijon mustard if using. - Roll it up:
Roll the slice tightly and secure with a toothpick if needed. - Crisp it up:
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add a little butter or olive oil. - Cook:
Place the rollups seam-side down and cook until golden and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side. - Serve hot:
