Crispy Ham & Cheese or Turkey & Cheese Rollups

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices of deli ham or turkey (your choice)
  • 6 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss work great)
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional, for flavor)
  • Olive oil or butter for pan
  • Toothpicks (optional but helpful for rolling)

Instructions:

  1. Lay it out:
    On a clean surface, lay down one slice of ham or turkey.
  2. Layer the cheese:
    Place a slice of cheese on top of the meat.
  3. Add the extras (optional):
    Spread a thin layer of cream cheese or a dab of Dijon mustard if using.
  4. Roll it up:
    Roll the slice tightly and secure with a toothpick if needed.
  5. Crisp it up:
    Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add a little butter or olive oil.
  6. Cook:
    Place the rollups seam-side down and cook until golden and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  7. Serve hot:
    Let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy as is or with your favorite dip!
