Diabetic Crispy Chicken Strips (Low-Carb, Sugar-Free)
Ingredients (serves 2–3)
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 cup almond flour (or crushed pork rinds for extra crunch)
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt & black pepper
- 1–2 eggs, beaten
- Optional: 1 tbsp Parmesan (grated) for extra crisp
How to Make
Oven Method
- Preheat oven to 200°C / 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Beat eggs in one bowl. Mix almond flour + spices + Parmesan in another.
- Dip chicken strips in egg → coat with flour mixture.
- Place on sheet and lightly spray with cooking oil.
- Bake 20–25 min, flipping halfway, until golden & crispy.
Air-Fryer Method
- Preheat air fryer to 190°C / 375°F.
- Dip and coat as above.
- Cook 10–12 min, shaking basket halfway through.
