Coconut and Condensed Milk Dessert

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups desiccated coconut (plus extra for coating)
  • 1 can (400g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder (optional, for flavor)
  • 1 tbsp ghee or butter (for greasing hands)
  • Crushed nuts (optional – almonds or pistachios)

Instructions:

  1. Mix It Up:
    In a mixing bowl, combine desiccated coconut and condensed milk. Add cardamom powder if using. Mix well until it forms a sticky dough.
  2. Shape the Bites:
    Grease your hands with ghee or butter. Take small portions and shape into balls or flatten into discs.
  3. Coat & Decorate:
    Roll the balls in extra desiccated coconut. Press a piece of nut on top for garnish if desired.
  4. Chill & Serve:
    Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes to firm up. Serve cold and enjoy!

Tips:

  • You can toast the coconut slightly for a nuttier flavor.
  • Add a few drops of rose water or vanilla for variation.
