Cheese Potato Bread
Ingredients:
2 large potatoes (peeled and boiled)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or a blend)
2 tablespoons butter (melted)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions:
1.Prepare the Potatoes:
Boil the peeled potatoes until fork-tender.
Mash them in a large bowl until smooth.
2.Make the Dough:
Add the flour, melted butter, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the mashed potatoes.
Mix until a soft dough forms.
3.Incorporate the Cheese:
Gently fold in the shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
4.Shape the Bread:
Divide the dough into small portions and flatten them into discs.
5.Cook the Bread:
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Fry each bread disc for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
6.Serve and Enjoy:
Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
