Buffalo Oyster PO’BOY with homemade crinkle cut fries


Ingredients
Oyster Mushroom
Corn startch
Flour used unbleached (sub for almond, wheat, spelt, etc)
*Flax Egg (1 tbsp ground flax, 3 tbsp water)
Season with staple items (seasoning salt, onion/ garlic powder, smoked/regular paprika, chicken seasoning, salt, pepper)
Grapeseed Oil (Air Fryer might work)
Plant based hot wing sauce
*Let the flax binder sit for at least 10 mins.
Mix flax egg with wet batter.
Dip mushrooms in cornstarch, wet batter, then flour.
Fry until crispy, then drizzle in hot wing sauce.
Dress sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and Buffalo mushrooms. Then drizzle with ranch.
I toasted my bun (optional)
Mayo on bun (option)
Homemade Ranch
Mayo
Milk
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Garlic
Fresh dill
Milk
**Lemon juice (used lime this time had no lemon)
Apple cider vinegar
pinch of paprika
Making the sauce prior allows the flavors to marinate. Overnight or at least 4 hours is recommended but optional (it’s still fyyye)!
