Big Mac Egg Rolls

Ingredients:

For the Filling:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pickles
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Egg Rolls:

  • Egg roll wrappers
  • Water (for sealing the wrappers)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

For the Special Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped pickles
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Filling: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. Add onions to the skillet and cook until softened. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  2. Prepare Special Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together all the special sauce ingredients. Set aside.
  3. Combine Filling Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef and onions with pickles, lettuce, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Assemble the Egg Rolls: Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon a portion of the filling onto the center of the wrapper. Fold in the sides and roll tightly, sealing the edges with water.
  5. Fry the Egg Rolls: In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the egg rolls until they are golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve: Serve the Big Mac Egg Rolls with the special sauce for dipping.
