Baked Crab Legs In Butter Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs (about 900g) of crab legs, thawed if frozen
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper to make the butter sauce.
- Arrange the crab legs in a single layer in a baking dish or on a baking sheet.
- Pour the butter sauce evenly over the crab legs, making sure they are coated well.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the crab legs are heated through.
- Once done, remove the foil or parchment paper, and switch the oven to broil. Broil the crab legs for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the butter sauce starts to bubble and the crab legs get a little crispy on the edges.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
- Serve the baked crab legs hot with some extra butter sauce on the side for dipping.
