Air fryer Shrimp And Sausage Kebabs
Ingredients:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- Wooden or metal skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before use)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine shrimp, sausage, bell peppers, and red onion.
- Seasoning: In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, thyme, and oregano. Pour the seasoning mixture over the shrimp, sausage, and vegetables. Toss to coat everything evenly.
- Assemble the Kebabs: Thread the shrimp, sausage, bell peppers, and onions onto the skewers, alternating between each ingredient.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Cook the Kebabs: Place the kebabs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer. Cook for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through, until the shrimp is opaque and cooked through, and the sausage is browned and heated.
