Air Fryer Recipes

Air Fryer Hashbrown Patties

  • Frozen hashbrown patties
  • Cooking spray or a small amount of oil (optional)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes. If your air fryer has a preheat function, use that.
  2. While the air fryer is preheating, take your frozen hashbrown patties out of the freezer and arrange them on a plate or tray. If you’d like, you can lightly brush them with a small amount of oil or cooking spray to help them crisp up more, but this is optional.
  3. Once the air fryer is preheated, place the hashbrown patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook them in batches if your air fryer is small and cannot accommodate all the patties at once.
  4. Cook the hashbrown patties at 375°F (190°C) for about 10-12 minutes. After the first 5-6 minutes, carefully flip the patties using tongs or a spatula to ensure even cooking. If you brushed them with oil, this will also help to make them crisp on both sides.
  5. Continue cooking for another 5-6 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy to your liking. Keep an eye on them, as cooking times may vary depending on your air fryer’s model and the thickness of the patties.
  6. Once the hashbrown patties are done, remove them from the air fryer and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil (if you used oil). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve your air fryer hashbrown patties hot as a side dish for breakfast or any meal.
