Air fryer Shrimp And Sausage Kebabs

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch rounds
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 red onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, smoked sausage, bell pepper, and red onion.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the ingredients, then add the paprika, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together to ensure even coating.
  4. Thread the marinated shrimp, sausage, bell pepper, and onion pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers, alternating between them.
  5. Place the assembled kebabs in the air fryer basket, leaving a bit of space between them to allow for proper air circulation.
  6. Cook the kebabs in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. The shrimp should be pink and opaque, and the sausage and vegetables should be nicely browned and cooked through.
  7. Remove the kebabs from the air fryer and let them rest for a minute before serving.
  8. Serve the shrimp and sausage kebabs with your favorite dipping sauce or alongside a salad or rice for a complete meal.
