Air Fryer Poached Eggs

Ingredients:

  • Eggs
  • Cooking spray or a small amount of oil (optional)
  • Muffin cups or silicone egg poaching cups (for best results)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to around 300-325°F (150-160°C). The exact temperature may vary depending on your specific air fryer model, so check the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. If you’re using muffin cups or silicone egg poaching cups, lightly grease them with cooking spray or a small amount of oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Crack one egg into each muffin cup or silicone poaching cup. Be careful not to break the yolk.
  4. Place the cups with the eggs into the air fryer basket. Be sure to leave enough space between them for proper air circulation.
  5. Set the timer for about 6-8 minutes. The exact cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer’s temperature settings and the desired level of doneness. It’s essential to keep an eye on the eggs during the cooking process, so they don’t overcook.
  6. Once the eggs are cooked to your preferred level of doneness, carefully remove the cups from the air fryer using tongs or oven mitts. Be cautious as they will be hot.
  7. Gently slide a spoon around the edge of the egg to loosen it from the cup. Then, carefully tip the egg out onto a plate. The poached egg should easily slide out if you greased the cups.
  8. Season the poached egg with salt and pepper, or any other desired seasonings, and serve immediately…
