Air fryer lasagna


  • 6 lasagna noodles
  • 1/2 pound ground beef or Italian sausage (optional)
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (24 oz) jar of your favorite marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. If you’re using meat, start by browning the ground beef or Italian sausage in a pan over medium heat. Once cooked, drain any excess fat. Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the pan and cook until they’re softened. Stir in the marinara sauce and let the mixture simmer for a few minutes. Set the sauce aside.
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set them aside.
  3. In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, and dried basil. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
  5. To assemble the lasagna in the air fryer, start by adding a thin layer of the marinara sauce at the bottom of an air fryer-safe dish that fits your air fryer basket. Place two lasagna noodles on top of the sauce. Spread a layer of the cheese mixture over the noodles, then add a layer of sauce. Repeat these layers until all your noodles, cheese mixture, and sauce are used up.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  8. Place the covered dish in the preheated air fryer and cook at 350°F (180°C) for about 20-25 minutes. After this time, remove the foil and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  9. Carefully remove the dish from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  10. Serve your air fryer lasagna with a sprinkle of fresh basil or parsley for garnish, if desired….
