Air Fryer Italian Stromboli
Ingredients:
- 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 pound thinly sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 pound thinly sliced salami
- 1/4 pound thinly sliced ham
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Italian seasoning, to taste
- Olive oil spray
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about an inch border around the edges.
- Layer the pepperoni, salami, and ham over the sauce, followed by the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning to taste.
- Starting from one long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log, pinching the ends to seal.
- Place the Stromboli seam-side down on a cutting board and brush the top with the beaten egg. This will give it a nice golden color when cooked.
- Carefully transfer the Stromboli to the air fryer basket, seam-side down. Spray the top with olive oil spray.
- Cook in the preheated air fryer for 15-20 minutes, or until the Stromboli is golden brown and crispy on the outside.
- Once done, carefully remove the Stromboli from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
- Slice the Stromboli into rounds and serve with additional pizza sauce for dipping, if desired.
