Air Fryer Italian Stromboli

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 pound thinly sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 pound thinly sliced salami
  • 1/4 pound thinly sliced ham
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Italian seasoning, to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about an inch border around the edges.
  4. Layer the pepperoni, salami, and ham over the sauce, followed by the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning to taste.
  5. Starting from one long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log, pinching the ends to seal.
  6. Place the Stromboli seam-side down on a cutting board and brush the top with the beaten egg. This will give it a nice golden color when cooked.
  7. Carefully transfer the Stromboli to the air fryer basket, seam-side down. Spray the top with olive oil spray.
  8. Cook in the preheated air fryer for 15-20 minutes, or until the Stromboli is golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  9. Once done, carefully remove the Stromboli from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  10. Slice the Stromboli into rounds and serve with additional pizza sauce for dipping, if desired.
