Air Fryer Fish
Ingredients:
- 4 fish fillets (such as tilapia, cod, or haddock)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or oil in a sprayer
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for a few minutes.
- In a shallow dish, mix the breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the flour in another shallow dish.
- Dip each fish fillet into the flour, ensuring it’s coated evenly, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Press the breadcrumbs onto the fish to make sure they adhere well.
- Place the breaded fish fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Lightly spray the fish fillets with cooking spray or use an oil sprayer to give them a light, even coating. This will help them crisp up in the air fryer.
- Cook the fish in the preheated air fryer for about 8-12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Check for doneness by inserting a fork into the thickest part of the fish; it should flake easily when it’s done.
- You can also flip the fish fillets halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning and crispiness.
- Once the fish is cooked and golden brown, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for a minute before serving.
- Serve your air fryer fish with your favorite side dishes, like coleslaw, tartar sauce, or lemon wedges for a refreshing touch….
