Air fryer cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
    • In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
    • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until well combined.
    • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
    • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Shape the Cookies:
    • Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of dough for each cookie and roll into balls.
    • Place the dough balls on a plate or tray, leaving a little space between each one.
  4. Air Fry the Cookies:
    • Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper.
    • Place a few dough balls in the basket, making sure they are not touching.
    • Air fry at 300°F (150°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
    • Remove the cookies from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack.
  5. Repeat:
    • Repeat the process with the remaining dough balls, lining the basket with new parchment paper for each batch if necessary.
  6. Enjoy:
    • Once the cookies are cool enough to handle, enjoy your delicious air fryer chocolate chip cookies!
