AIR FRYER CHICKEN WINGS

Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken wings, split at joints, tips discarded
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Optional: Your favorite wing sauce for tossing (e.g., buffalo, BBQ)
Instructions:
- Prep the Wings:
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This helps to ensure crispy skin.
- In a bowl, combine baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Coat the Wings:
- Place the wings in a large bowl and sprinkle the seasoning mixture over them. Toss the wings until evenly coated.
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Cook the Wings:
- Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Optional Tossing in Sauce:
- If you like saucy wings, transfer the cooked wings to a bowl and toss them in your favorite wing sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve:
- Serve the wings hot, garnished with chopped parsley or celery sticks on the side. You can also serve them with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
