Ingredients
- Bread slices (any kind)
- Butter (softened)
- Cheese slices or shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, American, or blend)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer
- 370°F (188°C) for 2–3 minutes.
- Prepare toast
- Lightly butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place bread butter-side down in the air fryer basket.
- Add cheese evenly on top.
- Air fry
- Cook for 4–6 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly and bread is golden.
- Check at 4 minutes to prevent over-browning.
Tips
✔ Use parchment or a rack to prevent flying cheese
✔ Thicker bread may need 1 extra minute
✔ For crispier toast, air fry 1–2 minutes longer
Optional Quick Upgrade (still simple!)
- Add garlic powder
- Sprinkle black pepper
- Finish with a pinch of Parmesan
