Air-Fried Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
1/4 cup softened unsalted butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 large egg
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the salt and the egg, and continue to mix until well combined.
Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and, if desired, the chopped walnuts.
In a separate bowl, sift the all-purpose flour and baking soda together, then gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix until you have a cookie dough consistency.
Form the cookie dough into small, evenly-sized cookie portions.
Place the cookie dough portions into the air fryer basket, ensuring they have some space between them.
Air fry the cookies at 350°F (175°C) for about 8-10 minutes or until they turn golden brown and slightly crispy on the outside.
Remove the cookies from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack.
Enjoy your homemade air-fried classic chocolate chip cookies once they have cooled down.
