Ingredients

  • ½ cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Salt & pepper
  • 4 slices provolone cheese

For serving (low-carb options):

  • lettuce wraps
  • Low-carb buns or whole grain buns (small portions)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms; cook until soft.
  3. Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute.
  4. Add tomato paste, broth, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer 5–7 minutes until thick and saucy.
  6. Top with provolone slices, cover, and let melt.
