๐Ÿ๐ŸŒฐ High-Protein Pineapple Pistachio Angel Food Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box Angel Food Cake mix
  • 3 large eggs (adds protein and structure)
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 2 boxes pistachio pudding mix (sugar-free or low sugar if possible)
  • ยฝ cup Greek yogurt (optional, for extra protein and creaminess)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • To 175ยฐC (350ยฐF)
    • Prepare a bundt or tube pan (no grease needed for angel food cake)
  2. Mix wet ingredients
    • In a large bowl, combine crushed pineapple (with juice), eggs, and Greek yogurt (if using)
    • Stir well
  3. Add dry ingredients
    • Add the angel food cake mix and pistachio pudding mixes to the wet mixture
    • Gently fold until combined, do not overmix
  4. Bake
    • Pour batter into the pan evenly
    • Bake 35โ€“40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
  5. Cool and serve
    • Let cake cool upside down in the pan for 1 hour
    • Remove carefully and slice
    • Serve as is or with a dollop of Greek yogurt for extra protein
