Ingredients

  • 2 cups cabbage (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup boneless chicken breast (sliced thin)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (for flavor)
  • 1–2 tsp sugar-free sweetener (optional, like stevia or monk fruit)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • ¼ cup green onions (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a wok or large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook chicken:
    Add sliced chicken and stir-fry until fully cooked (about 5–6 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté aromatics:
    In the same pan, add garlic and ginger. Stir for 30 seconds.
  4. Add cabbage:
    Toss in cabbage and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
  5. Combine:
    Return chicken to the pan. Add soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, sweetener, pepper, and chili flakes.
  6. Finish:
    Stir everything together for 2–3 minutes. Garnish with green onions.
