  • 4 cups fresh Green Beans, trimmed
  • 2 cups diced Potato (red or Yukon gold work well)
  • 4 slices Bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon
    In a large skillet or pot over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving about 1 tbsp of bacon fat in the pan.
  2. Sauté aromatics
    Add the onion and cook for about 3 minutes until soft. Stir in the garlic and cook another 30 seconds.
  3. Add vegetables
    Add green beans and diced potatoes to the pot.
  4. Season
    Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the vegetables and mix well.
  5. Simmer
    Pour in the chicken broth. Cover and cook on medium-low for 15–20 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Finish
    Stir the cooked bacon back in and simmer 2 more minutes.
  7. Serve
    Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
