2-Ingredient Air Fryer Hash Brown Patties

Ingredients

2 ingredients only:

  • 1 bag frozen shredded hash browns (about 20–24 oz)
  • 2 large eggs

Optional (for extra flavor)

  • Salt & pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Paprika
  • Chopped green onions

Instructions

1. Thaw & Drain

  1. Thaw hash browns slightly (microwave 1–2 minutes).
  2. Place in a clean towel or paper towels and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.

2. Mix

  1. In a bowl, combine:
    • thawed hash browns
    • 2 eggs
  2. Season if desired (optional).

3. Form Patties

  1. Divide mixture into 6–8 patties (depending on size).
  2. Press firmly to compact.

4. Air Fry

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Place patties in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
  3. Cook 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Cook 2–3 more minutes if you want extra crispiness.

Optional Add-Ins

If you want to add more flavor (still simple):

  • ¼ cup shredded cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped onions
  • 2 tbsp chopped bell pepper

Serving Ideas
