Ingredients

  • 1–2 inches fresh ginger root
  • 4 cups water

Instructions

  1. Wash and thinly slice (or lightly crush) the ginger. No need to peel unless you want to.
  2. Bring water to a boil.
  3. Add ginger, lower heat, and simmer 10–15 minutes.
  4. Strain and drink warm or cold.
