 2-Ingredient Cottage Cheese Cheese Sticks

Ingredients
1 cup cottage cheese (small curd or whipped)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Makes about 8 cheese sticks.

🍳 Directions (Full Recipe)

  1. Preheat & Prepare
    Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C).
    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
    (This prevents sticking — very important with melted cheese.)
  2. Blend the Cottage Cheese
    Add the 1 cup cottage cheese to a blender or food processor.
    Blend until completely smooth and creamy, with no curds left.
    (This helps the sticks hold shape and bake evenly.)
  3. Mix in the Mozzarella
    In a bowl, combine:
    the blended cottage cheese
    1 cup shredded mozzarella
    Stir well until thoroughly mixed and uniform.
  4. Spread & Shape
    Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
    Spread it into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.
    Smooth the top for even baking.
  5. Bake
    Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes,
    or until the edges are golden and the top is lightly browned.
  6. Cool & Slice
    Let the baked cheese slab cool for 5–10 minutes.
    Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, slice into 8 sticks.
    (Cut lengthwise, then crosswise.)
  7. Optional: Crisp Further

Place sliced sticks back on the baking sheet.
Bake an additional 5–8 minutes, or air-fry at 390°F (200°C) for 4–6 minutes.
