π Fluffy Condensed Milk Bread Recipe
π½οΈ Yield: 1 loaf (or 8β10 rolls)
β±οΈ Total Time: ~3 hours (includes rising)
π‘ Texture: Ultra-soft, fluffy, slightly sweet
π¦ Ingredients:
For the Dough:
- 2Β½ cups (320g) bread flour (or all-purpose, but bread flour is best)
- 2ΒΌ tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast or instant yeast
- ΒΌ cup (80g) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Β½ tsp salt
- 1 egg, room temperature
- ΒΎ cup (180ml) warm milk (110Β°F / 43Β°C)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
For Brushing:
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- Optional: 1 tbsp condensed milk (mixed with the butter)

π¨βπ³ Instructions:
1. Activate the Yeast
(If using active dry yeast)
- In a small bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Stir and let sit for 5β10 minutes until foamy.
(If using instant yeast, skip activation and mix it directly into the flour.)
2. Make the Dough
- In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine:
- Bread flour
- Salt
- Egg
- Condensed milk
- Activated yeast mixture (or milk if using instant yeast)
- Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead for 10β12 minutes by hand or 8β10 minutes in a stand mixer with dough hook, until smooth and elastic.
3. Add Butter & Knead Again
- Add softened butter and knead until fully incorporated. The dough will become soft and stretchy.
π‘ You should be able to stretch a piece of dough into a thin “windowpane” without tearing.
4. First Rise
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel or plastic wrap.
- Let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size (~1 to 1.5 hours).
5. Shape the Dough
- Punch down the dough and divide into 8β10 equal balls for rolls, or roll into a log for a loaf.
- For a tear-apart loaf, divide into 3β4 equal balls, roll flat, and stack in a loaf pan.
6. Second Rise
- Place shaped dough into a greased loaf pan or baking dish.
- Cover and let rise again until puffy and doubled (~45 minutes).
7. Bake
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- Bake for 25β30 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
8. Brush & Cool
- Immediately brush with melted butter + condensed milk for a glossy, sweet top.
- Let cool at least 15 minutes before slicing (if you can wait π ).
π― Tips:
- For extra fluffiness, let the dough rise slowly overnight in the fridge.
- Add a touch of vanilla or cinnamon for more flavor.
- Want to stuff it? Add chocolate chips, jam, or Nutella before shaping.
π§ Storage:
- Room Temp: 3 days (in airtight bag)
- Freezer: Up to 1 month β slice before freezing for easy toasting
