๐ฅ Ranch Chicken Salad
๐ Ingredients:
For the Salad:
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced (rotisserie or grilled works great)
- ยฝ cup celery, finely chopped
- โ cup red onion or green onions, finely chopped
- ยฝ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- ยผ cup crumbled bacon (optional but highly recommended)
- ยฝ cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
- 1โ2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or dill (for freshness)
For the Creamy Ranch Dressing:
- ยฝ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
- 2 tbsp sour cream (or more yogurt)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ยฝ tsp dried dill (or 1 tbsp fresh)
- ยฝ tsp dried parsley
- ยฝ tsp chives (optional)
- 1โ2 tsp lemon juice or white vinegar (for tang)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste

Chill or serve immediately:
You can serve it right away or refrigerate for 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Make the ranch dressing:
In a bowl, whisk together mayo, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, parsley, chives, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste. Set aside.
Assemble the salad:
In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, celery, onions, cheese, bacon, and any add-ins like tomatoes or herbs.
Mix it all together:
Pour the ranch dressing over the chicken mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
