Keto Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch asparagus (about 12โ€“16 spears)
  • 6โ€“8 slices of bacon (thin-cut works best)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ยฝ tsp garlic powder
  • ยฝ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: sprinkle of parmesan or red chili flakes

  1. Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Trim the asparagus ends (the woody part).
  3. Toss asparagus with olive oil, garlic powder, and pepper.
  4. Wrap 2โ€“3 asparagus spears together with one slice of bacon (start from the bottom and spiral upward).
  5. Place wrapped bundles seam-side down on the tray.
  6. Bake for 20โ€“25 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and asparagus is tender.
  7. Optional: Broil for 2-3 mins for extra crispiness!
