Caramel Apple Pie Bombs

Ingredients
- 1 can, 7.5 ounce biscuit dough
- 1 can Apple Pie Filling
- 10 Kraft Caramels, cut in half
- 1 cup white granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Vegetable Oil for Frying
- Optional caramel sauce for dipping
Instructions
FIRST STEP:
Fill a deep dutch oven with Vegetable Oil and begin heating
In a small heat safe bowl, add the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon, stir and set to the side
SECOND STEP:
Open the can of biscuits and using your fingers or a rolling pin, flatten out the dough
Place 1 tbsp of apple pie filling into the center of each flattened dough
Place a half caramel on the top of the apple pie filling
THIRD STEP:
Pinch the edges of the dough together and gently roll in your hands to seal and form a ball
Using a slotted metal spoon, gently place the roll into the heated oil.Fry until the balls are a golden color
Remove with the metal slotted spoon
FOURTH STEP:
Roll the ball into the cinnamon sugar mix and then place on a serving plate
Serve immediately or drizzle each pie bomb with some caramel sauce.
You can serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
