WW Brownie and Banana Split

WW Brownie and Banana Split

Ingredients

For the Brownie

  • 1 box low-fat brownie mix (or a homemade recipe that fits your WW points)
  • Eggs, oil, and water as required by the brownie mix (use healthier alternatives as needed, like applesauce instead of oil)

For the Banana Split

  • 1 medium banana, sliced lengthwise
  • 1 scoop light or non-fat vanilla ice cream (or frozen yogurt)
  • 2 tablespoons fat-free whipped topping
  • 1 tablespoon sugar-free chocolate syrup
  • 1 tablespoon chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 maraschino cherry (optional)
  • Fresh berries or sliced strawberries (optional)

Instructions

For the Brownie

  1. Prepare the Brownie Mix: Follow the instructions on the box, substituting ingredients as necessary to lower the points. For instance, you can use applesauce instead of oil.
  2. Bake: Pour the batter into a greased pan and bake as directed. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting.

For the Banana Split

  1. Arrange the Banana: Place the sliced banana in a dish or bowl.
  2. Add the Brownie: Place a small piece of brownie alongside the banana.
  3. Top with Ice Cream: Add a scoop of light vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt.
  4. Garnish: Drizzle with sugar-free chocolate syrup, add a dollop of fat-free whipped topping, and sprinkle with nuts if desired.
  5. Finish with Fruit: Add fresh berries or sliced strawberries and top with a maraschino cherry if desired.

Notes

  • Portion Control: To keep the dessert WW-friendly, be mindful of portion sizes. Use a smaller piece of brownie and one scoop of ice cream.
  • Variations: Feel free to adjust the toppings based on your preferences and the number of points you’re aiming to stay within.
