Instructions
For the Brownie
- Prepare the Brownie Mix: Follow the instructions on the box, substituting ingredients as necessary to lower the points. For instance, you can use applesauce instead of oil.
- Bake: Pour the batter into a greased pan and bake as directed. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting.
For the Banana Split
- Arrange the Banana: Place the sliced banana in a dish or bowl.
- Add the Brownie: Place a small piece of brownie alongside the banana.
- Top with Ice Cream: Add a scoop of light vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt.
- Garnish: Drizzle with sugar-free chocolate syrup, add a dollop of fat-free whipped topping, and sprinkle with nuts if desired.
- Finish with Fruit: Add fresh berries or sliced strawberries and top with a maraschino cherry if desired.
Notes
- Portion Control: To keep the dessert WW-friendly, be mindful of portion sizes. Use a smaller piece of brownie and one scoop of ice cream.
- Variations: Feel free to adjust the toppings based on your preferences and the number of points you’re aiming to stay within.
