INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Cups Potatoes (Sliced 1/8-1/4in Thick)
  • 6 Tbsp Melted Butter, Divided
  • 1 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/4 Tsp Paprika
  • 10.5 oz Can Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 Cup Shredded Colby Jack
  • 1 Cup Crushed Potato Chips (Lay’s)

INSTRUCTIONS 

  • Butter or oil an 8-inch cake pan and set aside.
  • Clean the potatoes and slice them if not already to 1/4-1/8 inch thick.
  • Place the slices into a bowl of cold water.
  • Once the potatoes are sliced and clean, pat dry with a towel.
  • Place all the potatoes into a large mixing bowl.
  • Add 4 tbsp of melted butter and mix to coat the potatoes with butter.
  • Sprinkle with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, ground black pepper, and paprika. Mix this well.
  • Add the cream of chicken soup and mix so all potatoes are coated with seasonings and soup.
  • Place 1 layer of potatoes in the pan and sprinkle with cheese using about 1/4 cup of the cheese.
  • Repeat until you have used all the potatoes, sprinkle cheese between the layers.
  • Add additional cheese, about 1/2 cup.
  • In a separate bowl, crush the potato chips and add 2 tbsp of butter. Add this mixture onto the top layer.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Gently press it all down.
  • Place in the air fryer at 330°F and cook for 25-30 minutes. Remember the time will vary depending on the air fryer, so be sure to watch it closely.
  • The potatoes are done when a knife can easily be cut through them. Serve!

NOTES

If potatoes are too thick it will take longer to cook.
