ZERO POINT Roasted Crispy Chickpeas Snack

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, depending on your WW plan)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare Chickpeas: Pat the chickpeas dry with a paper towel. It’s important to remove as much moisture as possible to get them crispy.
  3. Season: In a bowl, toss the chickpeas with olive oil (if using), paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Bake: Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the chickpeas are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Cool: Let them cool completely on the baking sheet. They will become even crispier as they cool.
  6. Store: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
