Banana Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced and frozen
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons almond milk (or any non-dairy milk)
  • Optional toppings: chopped nuts, berries, or a drizzle of maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Place the frozen banana slices in a high-speed blender or food processor.
  2. Add the vanilla extract and start blending on low speed.
  3. Gradually add the almond milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
  4. Stop the blender or food processor and scrape down the sides as needed.
  5. Blend until the mixture reaches a soft-serve ice cream consistency.
  6. If you prefer a firmer texture, transfer the banana mixture to an airtight container and freeze for an additional 1-2 hours.
  7. Serve the banana ice cream in bowls and top with your favorite optional toppings.

Weight Watchers Points: This banana ice cream is a zero-point dessert on the my WW Blue and Purple plans. However, keep in mind that toppings like nuts or syrup will add points, so be mindful of your portions.
