  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar substitute (like Stevia or Splenda)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a sheet pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the applesauce, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients:
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, sugar substitute, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
    • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until well combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Spread Batter in Sheet Pan:
    • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared sheet pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake:

  7. Cool and Cut:
    • Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for a while before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, cut them into squares or bars.
  8. Optional: Dust with Cocoa Powder (if desired):
    • Dust the cooled brownies with a little cocoa powder for a finishing touch.
  9. Serve:
    • Serve and enjoy your delicious, low-point Weight Watchers brownies!
