1 cup granulated sugar substitute (like Stevia or Splenda)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a sheet pan or line it with parchment paper.
Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the applesauce, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Combine Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, sugar substitute, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until well combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Spread Batter in Sheet Pan:
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared sheet pan and spread it evenly.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
Cool and Cut:
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for a while before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, cut them into squares or bars.
Optional: Dust with Cocoa Powder (if desired):
Dust the cooled brownies with a little cocoa powder for a finishing touch.
