Weight Watchers Dole Pineapple Whip

The classic Dole Whip is a creamy, fruity, soft-serve-style treat that became famous at Disney parks. This Weight Watchers-friendly version recreates the same sweet, pineapple-forward flavor and soft, airy texture—without the added sugar or heavy dairy. It’s naturally sweetened with fruit and made with a handful of simple ingredients, perfect for a warm day or a light dessert after a meal. Best of all, it comes together quickly in a blender and uses only items you likely already have on hand.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups frozen pineapple chunks (use unsweetened, 100% pineapple)
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk (or another low-point milk of your choice)
  • ½ banana, frozen (adds creaminess and sweetness)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: a few drops of zero-calorie sweetener (Stevia or monk fruit), to taste
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon nonfat plain Greek yogurt (for added creaminess)

Instructions

1. Prepare your fruit.
Make sure the pineapple chunks and banana are completely frozen before blending. You can freeze fresh pineapple or use pre-frozen chunks from the store. The banana helps to give the Dole Whip a soft-serve-like texture and a touch of natural sweetness.

2. Combine ingredients in a blender.
Add the frozen pineapple, frozen banana, almond milk, vanilla extract, and Greek yogurt if using to a high-powered blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy. You may need to pause and scrape down the sides a few times or add a splash more milk to help it blend.

3. Taste and adjust.
Once blended, taste the mixture. If you prefer a sweeter whip, add a few drops of your preferred zero-calorie sweetener and blend again briefly. The banana usually provides enough sweetness, but this is up to your preference.

4. Serve immediately.
Scoop the pineapple whip into a bowl or cup and serve right away for the best texture. You can also pipe it into a dish using a pastry bag for that signature swirl.

Serving Suggestions

This Dole Pineapple Whip is ideal as a light dessert, snack, or post-workout treat. You can enjoy it as-is or top it with a few fresh pineapple pieces or a sprinkle of toasted coconut flakes (if points allow). For a fun twist, freeze it into popsicle molds for a grab-and-go summer snack.

Storage

While this treat is best served immediately for that true soft-serve consistency, you can freeze leftovers in an airtight container. Before serving, let it sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes and stir to restore the creamy texture.
