Weight Watchers Crack Green Beans
Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh green beans, washed and trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (whole wheat, if available)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Red pepper flakes for some heat
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil until evenly coated.
- Spread the green beans on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the green beans.
- If desired, add red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the green beans are tender-crisp, and the breadcrumb mixture is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and transfer to a serving dish.
