Weight Watchers Christmas Cream Cheese Sprinkle Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar or sugar substitute
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup colored sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the softened reduced-fat cream cheese, softened butter, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture, beating until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the colored sprinkles.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
