Vegan Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Rolls


For the Dough:

  • 2 ¼ teaspoons (1 packet) active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm almond milk
  • ¼ cup vegan butter, melted
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 ½ – 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt

For the Filling:

  • ⅓ cup vegan butter, softened
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup diced peaches (fresh or canned)

For the Cobbler Topping:

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup vegan butter, softened
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons almond milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract


1. Prepare the Dough:

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm almond milk. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted vegan butter, sugar, salt, and yeast mixture. Stir well.
  3. Gradually add the flour, ½ cup at a time, until a soft dough forms. You may not need to use all of the flour.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

2. Prepare the Filling:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the softened vegan butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  2. Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface into a large rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Spread the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the dough, then sprinkle the diced peaches on top.

3. Roll and Cut the Rolls:

  1. Starting from one long edge, tightly roll up the dough into a log.
  2. Using a sharp knife, cut the log into 12 equal-sized rolls.

4. Prepare the Cobbler Topping:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, vegan butter, and cinnamon until crumbly.

5. Assemble and Bake:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish and place the rolls in it.
  2. Sprinkle the cobbler topping evenly over the rolls.
  3. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  4. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.

6. Make the Glaze:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, almond milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.

7. Serve:

  1. Drizzle the glaze over the warm peach cobbler cinnamon rolls before serving.
